meh, just one man's opinion, but if your going to get a put a Sport bumper on your non sport truck, your going to have to color match it and what not, and you will still have a gap... I would rather just put a 3rd Gen bumper on. I'm sure they're easier to find too. You're going to have a gap either way you go unless you just keep your stock bumper.

Friend did this once and prep is most important! The first time he peeled most of the chrome off and sanded the rest off,took forever and didnt take all of it off. He then painted it the color he wanted. Only lasted 1 month before the paint bubbled over just like the chrome.The bug splat also didnt help with this process. Eventually he just decided to put a new black grille and to settle with that.I honestly would just buy a different color grille unless you have the time and money to re-sand,re-paint, un-chrome,every time it needs it.
