Always thought you had a nice truck Merc! Any upgrades / changes to it since you were last here?

Welcome to the site! I have the same tires. Great ride and traction but wear badly! I recommend rotation at least every oil change. Mine have scalloped badly and each small lug is lower than the rest. I rotate when the rears are flat but these never get there. Two shops said it was lack of rotation. Whatever. I believe it is the design of the treads.

I put 25k on a set of those on my '90 W250 12v and they wore perfectly. I rotated them every 10k. I'd guess you have a caster problem.

Nope, caster has nothing to do with wear. Caster is front to back relationship between the upper and lower ball joints. Had it professionally aligned and it's just fine. It could be camber, but then the entire side would wear, not just every other lug. Either way, they haven't lasted long, as I may get one more winter with them. That would be 3 years.

Here's my 99. Wasn't overly keen on the color initially but really liked the way it looked. The color has since grown on me but I will be repainting one day.

The day I picked it up:

That's sharp. Though, I see what you mean about the color. Look at it this way, no one will ever be able to say "I didn't see him...."

That's true, now that I've been driving it daily for the past 6 months or so I've come to like it. It turns quite a few heads and I actually get a lot of compliments on it which surprises me lol.

Eventually ill repaint. Always wanted a white truck but like 2-tone so I'm thinking charcoal grey from the bodyline down and the fender flares and white from the bodyline up.

Nice truck! My vote would be to keep it yellow. It's a pretty rare color and I think it looks great.
