205 is not too bad, with the stock clutch fan it always at 180 in the temp gauge. also on the concern of transmission , my truck has stock outside transmmision cooler too, so it may not raise the tranny temp. i will put lucas trany fluid to help for increase temp , should solve the problem.

A lot of newer cars aren't running small block Magnums. They're already pushing it to run the Magnums at 195, which is the why behind the death flash. (Okay, I'm a heretic. Nothing new here.)
Nothing that can be taken to the bank because my experience is from the last century... But once upon a time when I was a field engineer, I used to find myself entirely too often for my liking suited up in Nomex and on one of the many refineries that are/were in California. I serviced equipment at Arco Carson, Mobil Torrance, Chevron El Segundo, Exxon Benicia, and Shell Martinez regularly, and some others sporadically. At those terminals where they had gasoline racks I never saw a company truck at any except the company's lines. There are usually several lines at the racks, with some being company branded and some not, and at some refineries you might see, say, Chevron lines, Texaco lines, and unbranded lines. I never saw independents at the branded lines or branded trucks at the unbranded lines. Doesn't mean it didn't happen -- I never had any business at the racks and only saw them when I would break the rules and go touring around, which is really, really frowned upon. When I got hassled I just pretended to be lost and asked for directions. Some of those security piggers were humorless dudes.
All of this is old information. I'm getting old fast... I haven't set foot on a refinery in a few months over 20 years now. And don't want to, either. Those places are dangerous. Especially when the company wants to shut them down to manipulate prices.
