Pricing Idea's.

Does anyone know how much a stock radio from a 2000 ram would run for? I was thinking $100.

Depends on what radio it is. If it's base or cassette it might be free. If it's a properly working Infinity (like mine) it would go for more as those are NOT cheap new.

It as a CD player and cassette. It works fine. I just upgraded.

Do you have tweeters in your stock system? If so it might be an Infinity headunit....

Hell I'd even like to get a stock CD player for my truck being my cassette player **** itself a while back...

I have my old infinity system head unit laying around somewhere

The nice thing is that CD player-equipped units are a direct bolt in replacement for the non-CD units. You can often find them on Ebay and the like for around $50 used.

How well would it work with a non Infinity system?

Ham Bone Jun 12, 2013 11:40 AM

It would probably work fine, don't know if the harnesses are the same though

dodge dude94 Jun 12, 2013 12:31 PM

Infinity systems use individual speaker amps rather than powering from the headunit.
