really? is carfax that bad? i always thought it was supposed to be reliable. but i'm not seeing that now, lol. think the autocheck (from ebay) is any better? and yes....that black one is sweet. i'm trying to find a black truck since all the other vehicles in the household are black, lol.

yeah, i pretty much wrote that one off. they stated that they could not provide any information about it, and told me they bought it that way. something just doesn't seem right. sad thing is, i wouldn't be opposed to the motor swap if they could provide paperwork & verify the mileage that was on it.
I'm pretty sure that Carfax only works if people MAKE it work. lol
My truck was Carfaxed as a 1 owner, yet there is a fade mark in the tailgate from another dealer. So I don't believe it.

thanks for everyone's input on this. i ended up picking up the 99 ram 2500 that was on ebay. had the lowest mileage & was in the best shape than anything else around me, lol.

Looks nice bud, I wish my interior was setup that way. Its weird seeing that huge shroud since I'm used to my truck that doesn't have one :P

yeah, lol. i think the guy works construction b/c he has a strobe system set up on the truck.

i'd like to try to find the color matched bumpers & grille (from a sport). are the 2500 parts interchangeable with the 1500 & 3500's?
