Default What Do LT, ST, WS Stand For?

Just wondering what the LT, ST, and WS designations stand for, and how to tell which designation a particular truck is. Insurance company wants to know if my truck is an LT, ST, or WS, and I have NO IDEA how to tell the difference.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

look for the sticker in the glove box (later years) or under hood (earlier years).
ST is Standard Trim, aka a basic truck.
LT or SLT is a Luxury Trim. power everything, carpet, etc.
WS is probably Work Special. painted steel wheels, the cheapest of the cheap,

THANK YOU FOR THE CLARIFICATION!!! Got my 2003 1500 4X4 used a couple of years ago and I'm faced with the same question when searching parts (feel pretty stupid...)

If you have manual windows or vinyl seat, you have an ST for sure. lol

If you have black bumpers and grille with vinyls and barely a radio, WS. lol

SLT will say "Laramie SLT", this is not to be confused with the later models that were Laramies and those trucks were the luxury trucks and the SLT's were midline.

Default Confused

I have power mirrors and windows but manual seats and cloth seats and carpet. I kno mine is not the luxury model due to I have seen other trucks with way more luxury than mine with touchscreen radios and dash gages being more high tech.

If this is true my 1999 must be worth a lot because it is both a ST and a WS. but how do I decode that for the part stores?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
