Default oohhhh yyeeaaahhhh....plastidip & new fog lights

well, in my previous posts about my bumper, i can say i honestly don't mind it now. i installed some KC lights that i had laying around and plastidipped the grille, front & rear bumpers. not too bad for a quick spray job.

after

Dayum.

Looks nice. Did you do the tailights and tailgate plastic as well? I did that with my rear plastics as they were faded to crap. Looks awesome!

Can we get a close up and a behind shot of the way the lights fit into the bumper?

i didn't do any other trim just painted anything that was chrome. i ended up replacing the taillights since the driver's side had a crack in the red lense & the passenger side had a crack in the corner.

i will get more pics later. i was in a hurry since my wife had dinner waiting inside, lol.

Ahh, looked as if you had painted them. That's why I painted mine, they were good but faded bad.

Either way, looking good and looking forward to more pictures.

I've been thinking about hitting all my plastics with Raptor, might give it a go.

the plastidip is getting popular. i feel like i am late getting on the bandwagon, lol. but it's great b/c if you don't like it, it's supposed to come off pretty easy.

i'm going to also try doing the grille on my wife's car. that way no harm, no foul if is she hates it.

i'm curious to see how well it holds up with daily driving.

I did my wheels with it and it held up well. Only started to peel when the weights were removed.

That looks really good! It almost looks brand new! I had my wheels plasti dipped at one time (avatar) but I spend most of my time in the mountains or offroading now. The flying rocks would literally chip off the plasti dip and it became a pita to recover. Im thinking of redoing mine except with krylon fusion to take out all the fading black out of the plastic. But that looks great man!

thanks for the compliments guys.

on a side note, i also picked up my new to me toolbox. ordered my tint to tint the windows, and installed some "visor caddys" to put my sunglasses & phone when i'm driving, and put on my dash mat.
