My buddy recently picked up a 1996 (according to stamping) Dodge factory bezel that is wood grain. It does have a factory Chrysler part number stamping above the speedometer but the sticker has worn off. Anyone got any information at all about this dash existing?

 

I think it was an option, included with some package or other.... couldn't tell ya which package though....

 

I googled and researched many different things last night about the bezel (it would probably help if my phone would post the picture but..) everything I could find online was a different pattern of wood grain. It made it a little more mysterious because the back side of the bezel itself is tan in color

 

It may be aftermarket too.......

 

I wouldn't think that the Chrysler stamping with the stixkes would be there on an aftermarket though

Factory Bezels for 94-97 were wood grain on the outside of the bezel face and Black in the center. These trucks also had a symmetrical woodgrain trim strip on the door. They are very rare. How may ppl bought a Premium spec full option truck back in the 94-97? I seen an SST with tan leather and woodgrain.
