Default Pricing

I am 18 and looking at a 1995 Ram with the v-10 magnum. It only has 176,00 miles. How much would it be worth. The person I was talking to said 3.800. Is that a Good Price. It has toolbox and a built in air compressor and riding on brand new michllen tires.

Would have to be in really good shape for that price. I would only consider it if do not live in a rust belt. anything older than 2004 in my area are rust buckets. a v-10 is going to be hard on fuel.

More info/pics would help. As said the V10's scared a lot of people off with it's fuel thirst.

Parts for the OBDI v-10s are getting pretty scarce, and no, unless it is in PERFECT condition, it isn't worth that much.

I looked around quite a bit before buying mine. It's all about condition, and local pricing. Areas prone to rust are typically cheaper(for rust reasons)

On a national level, I saw 2nd gen v10 4wd, quad cab for as much as 10k - with beautiful interiors and exteriors, and undercarriage...to as little as 3-4k for something with some body rust and ok interior.

reg cab should be cheaper
2wd should be cheaper

use this to search Craigslist across many states...for comparisons
https://www.searchtempest.com

Use facebook market (a lot of craigslist traffic is moving to facebook market), set a 100 mile search radius...also you can charge your search city.

When you look, remember the 3/4 ton pull a premium price over the 1/2 ton pickups. The desiel is a BIG premium over v10 (like 5-10k premium in the same truck/miles/condition)

Half ton v8 would definitely be thai price or cheaper.

I bought my truck for 3300.00.... 98 V-10 auto, 4.56 gears, and 33" tires. Most of the body is in pretty good shape, bottoms of the doors... not so much.
