I'm officially back!
 

Not that I've been away, but I now have a ram again and am happy to be back!

I posted a post a couple monthes back titled "I made a mistake, I'm coming back"

Long story short, I have purchased my Uncle's '97 Ram 1500 extended cab long bed 5.2L 4x4 since he has now moved up to a 2007 Ram 2500HD.......I know this one will be as nice as my other ram, which was a '98 1500 w/ a 5.9L.....

Here's some pics, a little dark but just to give ya guys a taste.....im not letting this one go, very basic and all stock, but that'll change:D

thanks everybody......it's great to be back, and great to have anothe ram, I mean I'm only 18, but I missed it so much.

In response to shott8283 and Bouncer 88, yes, I can feel the difference actually. I don't do much hauling, so I wasn't concerned when I got this truck and it had the smaller V8 in her compared to thelast truck I had, but yeah, the difference is noticeable even in just taking off. I also punched it a little going down the parkway, and it doesn't have the same "roar" as the '98 did, but still plenty powerful, and I'm told better mileage. I'll tell ya though, what is nice is to have the extended cab for my friends and have the 8 foot bed.....lotts of room.

i had the 5.2 in my old truck... great motor!! treat it right and it will treat you right! it will tow if it has to... its got the power for most light jobs!

i hear ya on the room man.. i was young when i got my reg. cab .. now im regretting it.. wish i had that backseat
