Im thinking of getting them. I dont know whether or not to get them and p/p them with a 3 angle, or spend the extra $300 each for the eddies. Its not a horrible price, but finding a used set from a dakota would be the cheeper option.

EDIT:: Im dumb, Iv been looking at those rt heads for a while and I didnt notice until it was pointed out to me that they are bare. Definately spend the money and get eddies, or still find a cheep used set of rts

IMHO the 1.92 R/T head isn't worth the money to install "as-is" - might as well go with the 2.02 Edelbrocks, the lighter weight plus aluminum's ability to shed heat are a bonus. If you need absolute maximum air flow (ie: supercharged, top-end power config) then go with the Mopar R/T 2.02 heads and have them fully ported before installation.

Eddie's the pimp on the corner who you should talk to about getting some head...

Eddie = Edelbrock. They make a set of aluminum heads for the Magnum V8 which are ready to bolt on with 2.02 intake valves.

According to Shady Dell Speed Shop...

Stock Edelbrock Magnum heads produced 249.4 cfm in, 176.6 cfm out @ .500" lift, which is about what you'd see with a stock'ish cam. 259.4 cfm in, 179.4 cfm out @ .550" lift.

Not out of the box they aren't... There's lots of shops that can port/polish them for you at an additional price. KRC Performance has a sale going for $1999 p/p on the Edelbrocks, not sure what their final flow #'s are for that set though, you'd have to contact them for details.

I had a set of Edelbrocks processed by Shady Dell a couple of years ago - cost a lot more, but I went for all the bells & whistles on the porting, plus upgraded springs.
