ORIGINAL: Rampant 150

Damn straight. Pick up this book- how to build big-inch mopar small-blocks, just search for it on google. It tells you exactly what you need to do. Its the book that I am basing my 390 on if I ever get around to it.
Thats actually a really good book for beginers. It matches up a lot of good parts to make some good power, as well as blueprints diffrent parts for diffrent objectives (mpg, low end tq, mid range daily driver, drag race screamer, etc.) Unfortunately most of the parts are mopar performance parts that they use in that book. nothing wrong with them, im just never a fan of using manufacturer's aftermarket parts totaly

For your information these engines are not identical, they have different crank journals, thus making the block different, its just not a bore and crank difference. Also the throttle bodies are identical in every way, shape and form. Same part number. Must have had the info mixed up between the 2.

If I recall correctly, the throttle bodys are different. Most 5.2's stock TBs are 50mm coned down to 48mm or so. On most 360's, the stock TB is 52mm coned down to something I can't recall at the moment.

My bad I didn't realize that the thread was that old, nevertheless sometimes it is good to revive a old thread for the sake of accuracy.

Yup, 5.2L and 5.9L throttle bodies are the same, 50mm tapered down to 48mm or so. Thats why when you bore it out (or have someone like Dan the Fastman bore it out for you) to 52mm for a 5.9L, you have to have new throttle plates.
