Default No spark problem solved (but not fixed yet)!!!

Ok,
Today i was just not gonna believe that my PCM was shorted due to the fire. So i checked the 2 other possible reasons...Crank pos sensor and cam pos sensor. I replaced both, HOWEVER, the wiring harness showed my my problem. I noticed that the connectors to the sensors had a splice in them. After looking more closely...I noticed that the 3 pin connectors were not the weatherproof connectors. The sensors were 3 pin, but didn't mate to the harness sensors. I need to go back to the junkyard and get the right sensor connectors from a wiring harness in there.

I am betting this is the reason why my truck won't start. If it still doen't start after i fix this problem, then it has to be the PCM.

Hopefully i can get rolling before friday. Deff by monday.

P.S. Would autozone or any other auto parts store sell those connectors (wiring harness side)?

Thanks for all those chiming in with their knowledge. When my truck is running i am gonna make a tribute thread to those who helped.

Most likely not, do you have a picture of what you need?

I don't have a pic of what i need, but it resembles the harness side connector (male) for your TPS and MAP, but maybe a hair smaller. It will have the rubber boot on it to weatherize it.

I am having a hard time seeing it, the reason I ask is because I have lots of connectors from my old harness on the neon and alot of the connectors should be similar.

Go to the dealer and have them look that stuff up for you. They have pdf files that have been converted from (cad or something like it). That connector shouldn't cost you more than a thousand bucks or so.

JK make them give you a part # then search it.

I don't think there is a part number since it is actually a part of the wiring harness. Then again...

Here is a pic of the Crank sensor with female side connector. I am needing the male side that is on the harness. The cam and crank sensor have the same hookup:

I am going back to the junkyard... I paid 450 dollars for this POS. Maybe i should return it and look on Car-parts.com

If they can't help me i will do that.

If you already have the harness installed you could make your own out of a m/f weatherproof molex connector readily accessible from any ADEMCO and some Rat shacks
