I have a '97 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd. When I try to start it after not running it for a couple of hours, it hesitates for a few seconds. If I start it, shut it off, then try to start it again it starts right up. I think it has something to do with reseting the choke. If you have any ideas on how to fix this, please respond.

Thanks for your input,
Adam Lehde

Mine did the same thing when I bought it. I replaced the fuel relay. It quit doing it.

Sorry it took someone 5 years to answer you.
