Adding Glow to my truck

I got some LED tubes and mounted them on my truck. Here are a few pics, note only 3 tubes work as the ECU I bought was bad but ill have its replacement today. I have always wanted some glow and finally found a kit I liked and had the cash and will to buy it. For now its on my ram but may move it to my Intrepid once I have a motor in it.

Its the Oznium Inferno V1 Led tubes, very bright and very nice.

Feel free to comment, Ive got my riot grear on to bash away all the *Cough* Ricer *Cough* statements so have at it... lol

PS: MY truck sits level, the angle of the picture in the last one makes it look like its leaning but its really not.

I like it!
How much did it set you back and where did you get it?
How many total amps does it draw?
Under vehicle lights aren't just for ricers... I like the LED idea so much more than other versions. The LED lights will hold up much better than the other types and use less power to do the same / better job.

Nice. Looks like it changes colors too. Bonus points. :-) Yeah, the LEDs are great on power consumption. I put under glow on my bike, and I can leave it on 24 hours a day for 3 days and still start the bike no problems.

I got it used form the Oznium Forums but you can get them new for 225ish shipped. Mine set me back about 180. The ECU was damaged and the guy I bought it from paid half the cost of the new one so I cam out ahead by 45 bucks. It took about an hour to setup the lights and another hour to run them all into the glove box where im keeping the ECU.

Here is a diect link, with some videos of it http://www.oznium.com/inferno

You can select from 7 Preset colors or the MIllion color mode which scan though them all, you can set speeds and even plug in RCA to have them hit to the beat.

Phil is the owner of Oznium and he stands behind his product and is active on there forum, his top goal is to deliver a quality product and quality support and from what I've read in the past 4 weeks I've been on there forum he does a great job at both. Hes got tons of other product to that are worth checking out. As for how many amps it pulls I have no idea, Id ask on there forum for an answer to that. http://www.oznium.com/forum/

PS: If you do place an order put me in the comments box as a Referral :) My name on here is the same on there forum.

I've anyone gives you crap... tell them they are rock lights. :)

It looks like they throw light pretty well... especially since the tubes are only 4 feet long! Did you center the side tubes between the front and rear wheel? It looks like it is centered under the doors... nice light throw.

Those look nice... I might need some rock lights now too. :) I might even have to spring for a few extra tubes to go under the bed rails for lighting too. :) I really like the ability to do different colors on each tube.

Can you get any shots from under the truck in the rear... I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get my tube in there... I have a tow hitch that looks pretty much in the way.

Anway... nice rock lights. ;)

Ill take some pics here in a few, The tubes in front is zip tied to frame, Both sides the tube happend to fit almost perfectlying in holes already in the frame and a few zip ties just to secure it even more and in the rear I dont have a spare tire so I had tons of options on where to place it.

When and if I ever get off the phone with virgin mobile ill get out there and take some pics, going on 20min hold now..... ugg

Im finally off the phone with Virgin Mobile, got my GF's sister phone turned back on and a free month od service.. ;) I personally have Verizion.. but thats another story for antoher day...Well here are the pics,

Rear First, You can see how its where the spare tire would normally go.

Here is the Side. Both are the same you can see in the first pic how the Tube goes right into the hole in frame, Second shows how I had to zip tie the other end, on Passenger side they both go into holes but on Driver the E-Brake cable is in the way... Make sure you dont zip it to the e-brake cable if you place it like I did, I zipped it to the tralier lights wires.

I always wondered if the underglow lights would be able to hit the ground with a truck. Your truck is taller than average and still appears to hit the ground just fine. I personally do like the underglow kits myself. I think it's fun to turn them on when your in parking lots and stuff just to mess with people. Looks neat though.

I'll admit it, I kind of like them...

Not sure about the tri-color TV test pattern look though.

I can't believe how much I like the projector lights I got. I know they're ricer, but they look great with the all chrome grille.
