Default Tripping the keyless entry

Does anybody know a way to trip the keyless entry? Like is there a wire under the hood or something you can give power to unlock the doors. I locked my damn keys in the truck today and can't find my spare key. My luck its in the truck too. I had a habit of picking it up from the shop and throwing the spare in the console. Its very well possible its still in there

AHHHH one thing after another with this truck this week

Sorry to hear man... but I think you are SOL. I just looked in the schematics from the 2001 FSM, and all the wiring and splices that you could be uses to run the door lock motors are inside the cab.

If I were to try and do this on the cheap, I would try and find some thicker plastic, about the thickness of a milk jug, and some fishing line. Cut the plastic into a long strip, and tie the fishing line to one end (I would make a small hole for it to go through).

I've had to do this a few times in the past (on different vehicles), and it seems to work fairly well. The plastic slips through the seals easily, and with the fishing line tied to the end that you slip into the vehicle, you can tug on it to direct where it goes once inside the cab. With enough patience (or luck) you'll be able to unlock your truck.

I would aim for the power door switch...

Good luck!
