When I put in my backup lights... I found that wire by opening up the fuse/relay box under the hood. With a screw driver you should be able to pop off the "plate" where all the fuses and relays are. Look for the little tabs to undo - don't try to pry it off until you have that released. The tabs are on the sides of the box, you'll likely need a flashlight to see them...
Good luck, Cartman |
Why don't you just run a wire from your positive terminal to that wire? You can use the head units blocked features anytime then.

well i just have to ask.... why do you wire your backup lights into your stereo ?
|
Probably for a reverse camera. :)

Either that or its for the safety lockup function.

now i gotta ask again... whats a safety lockup function ?
and what's it got to do with a stereo ? |

A lot of in dash DVD players won't play movies unless the car/truck has the parking brake on, in park, whatever.... basically to eliminate people from watching movies while driving. But, you can "trick" them to think that those conditions are met when they really are not.
