1998 5.9L head bolts tty or not?

Default 1998 5.9L head bolts tty or not?

trying to find head bolt torque specs... my book shows 50 and then 105 (no other info?). anyone have torque specs? do these require any additional movement? yes- i have new bolts. Thanks

According to AutoZone, they say to torque the bolt down to 50ft/lbs and then to 105ft/lbs. Of course you need to follow the torque pattern each time.

What you read is a "step" process when torquing bolts. If it were Torque-To-Yield style it would have said turn an "X"amount of degrees after you have done the second step of torquing to 105ft-lbs.
