Need help trackbar bad

ok guys here we go...i bought this 1997 dodge ram 1500 318 v8 almost a year ago.....it has a 4 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift with 36's....the shocks say rancho on them.....is this the stock track bar on this ???can it be used up to 4 inches of lift...i do not see any drop brackets.....does anyone know where i could get a track bar for my lift....

Welcome to DF. I'd go with a Thuren Track bar. Its fully adjustable, and Thuren will custom build it for your 4 inch lift. You will have to have the upper bracket welded on.
I'm guessing you don't know what kind of lift you have but could I ask you...Do your control arms hook up at the stock frame locations? And do you see a coil spacer between your frame mount and coil spring?
The reason I'm asking is that to my knowledge there only one or two dedicated 4 inch lifts on the market for 2nd gen rams.

where can i order this from ?? yes my arms mount on the stock locations and i do see coil spacers between the coil and mount...did the guy tell me that i have a bigger lift then i actually do ??

Its possible. At one time Tough Country made a 4.5 inch lift that used a spacer. You could easily measure your spacer and find out. Most "spacer" lifts are either 2 or 3 inches.
I don't have the link, but Google "Thuren Track Bar" and you'll get it. I believe he's out of the bars for your truck at the moment but you can call him to find out when he's gonna make some.

BTW, he may have made it a 4 inch lift by adding different springs. If you have a factory track bar my guess is he didn't.

how do i know if mine is a factory track bar ??? any measurement i can take ??? id be happy if it was a stocker would make my life easier....

If the track bar is factory and you just want to take out the slop, Luke's Link makes a rebuild kit for the ends. Google "Lukes link" and you'll get some info.

Lukes links...its an ok fix but for your size lift I'd buy a replacement bar and be done with it.

well i measured my spacer and it seems to be 3.5-4 inches...and i think i have the stock arms on it... but i dont wanna go buy a stock trackbar and find out its not stock.....can the stocker be used with the 4 inch lift ??? i mean my rear is centered....and some of the lifts i seen didnt come with a track bar
