Angry It happened again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the first time: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ce-in-pan.html

I recently bought a Durango and dropped the trans pan to change the fluid.
46RE like my ram
and I found a broken piece!!

After I got my heart and breathing started again, I called a Dodge dealer and there is a 7yr/70000 mile powertrain warranty that may be transferable to me since I have 58k miles.

I guess it's easy to say now that I was stupid for buying another vehicle with a 46RE.

its a spare part from the transmission. maybe a broken snap ring ?
i knew you sold your truck, but i can't believe you bought a durango. dammit boy, what were you thinking ?

thats good news that you've got a warranty.

on the bright side, other than the extra pieces of metal flopping around in the trans, there's not much sludge.
