Any noticeable changes besides gaining a little room in the engine bay with having the 14x3 air hat.

This is what I've used

+ 3/4" to 1" spacer from Auto zone and $6.99 breather cap.
Filter comes with 1/4x20 all thread and nice wing nut.
That is all you need.
I've noticed little gain at higher RPM. Nothing at lower RPM.
It sounds cool what you hit gas rapidly - little shoosh coming from under the hood sound nice.
Just my $0.02

yeah.. it has a wicked "swoooosh" sound when the butterflies crack open.. and I noticed a pretty good increase in power from about 3,200-3,800 RPM Range.. but because I've done other mods.. it's hard to tell which of them is doing more than the other... all in all I'm very pleased with my mods and it IS WELL worth the money!
