Default 1999 Dodge Ram -- Work in Progress

we bought our 99 Ram brand new with the 5.2 V8 4x4, and have been using it to pull a horse trailer since. It now has 105,000 on it.

Within the last 4 months, we have replaced....

New cat
new plenum gasket
new air conditioner unit
rebuilt transmission
new tires

What should we do next. and now that we are repairing it, what can I get to enhance the performance. I was looking at this intake...is this worth it or should I just fork out the money for a K&N?

Any other ideas? Everything else on the truck is stock.

We also need a new dashboard, and I was looking at the dashboard cover in the LMC truck catalog. Is that soemthing thats worth the $130?

And finally, i have major rust under both driver and passenger doors, front and back, and above both rear wheelwells (has not broken through, just bubbling)

What should I do to combat that? Thanks!

don't waste your money on that intake, get a 14x3, i tow a lot with the truck, and it helped quite a bit

as far as the rust goes, i would sand down your rocker panels, and do bedliner, and bring it up along the fenders, thats what im gonna do to mine this winter
