Hey guys what do you think of getting a piece of aluminum and cutting it to shape and tigging it in instead of replacing the gasket or getting an M1 or hughes setup?

that would work great! The only problem is that you will never have access to the runners, so you'll need to decide whether or not to mod it right then.
