Default Noob here..... Questions on parts suppliers....

Hi all!! I was in an accident recently and totalled my Volvo S60 (Had a firetrtuck take me out) While I recover and save to by a new car, I found a decent deal and just picked up a 98 SS/T from a neighbor that I couldn't pass up.

It's in pretty good shape, but it did have a minor run-in that dented the front bumper. I know this truck is on the "rare" side, and I have had no luck searching for parts today.

Can you guys recommend reputable places to buy parts and stuff? THis is my first Dodge P/U ever!!!

I am already familiar with Jegs and Summit, but I know there are probably some specialty shops I should know about....

What exactly are you looking for?

For body panels:
There are a bunch of places that sell body parts on the web. Just google what you are looking for. Stay away from LMC as their prices are a little high but they are good for small stuff. Also look at junkyards and on eBay.

For engine/Performance:
Hughes Engines, APS Precision, KRC Performance, Jegs, Summit, and I cant think of any other at the moment.

For just parts in general:
RockAuto.com and NAPA.

Sounds like you found yourself a nice truck. I have always liked the SS/Ts (Especially the wheels!). Take a little bit of time and read the stickies at the top of the page (Or in my sig) to find out stuff about your truck. Post some pics soon! Welcome to Dodge Forum!

The previous owner rearended a Delta88 a while back. There is a good sided dent in the front. The plastic covering the bumper etc may be salvagable once the bumper is replaced, but I can't find the bumper anywhere except the dealer.

All the online shops say "Doesn't fit sport" for the bumpers.... NONE that I have found so far offers any trim levels other than BASE..... This is all ASSUMING that the SS/T has the "Sport Bumper"

So if anyone knows what bumper fits 1998 Ram 1500 SS/T, please let me know.
