Default O2 sensor Question

2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9. I have 159k miles on the truck. It is not throwing codes but should I change out the pre cat o2 sensor. Or not waste the money.

It probably wouldn't hurt....although if you havent had a tune up recently then that money would probably be better spent there. I guess the 02 sensors are considered by some to be tune-up items but i was thinking more plugs, wires, etc...

Some argue they are only 50,000 mile parts anyway, I don't think they're too expensive.

I did a tune up last year. I put maybe 8,000 miles a year on my truck. I May just go ahead and put one on.
