started smok'n

well guys i haven't been on in a while thanks to work, So the other day i decide to take the dodge out of garage wash her up and go get gas. when i started up the truck a whole lot of smoke poured out the exhaust got out to look smelled like oil burning, thought it was kinda weird didn't do it when i parked it 2 months ago after doing all that work to the house just so i could fix the truck. checked the oil and it was fine checked inside the plenum for oil clean as a whistle. I think we are looking at the all to familar crack heads or bad valve seals Oh and compresion is good so dont think it is blow by

I have been running it every night i get home now but still burning oil smell until it warms up the smoke goes away. I'm going to bet its a cracked head. trying to figure out how i am going to get the time to fix it. I am glad i dont drive it often. rite now it is back in the garage way in the back .

Sounds like old valve seals. It has been sitting for a while.
