****er :p spelling wasnt my strong point in school, hey are the 3 bolts for the hub reverse threaded? cause i just broke two ratchets and a 14mm wrench.

Part store is closed now so i cant go buy a 14mm socket with a 1/2 drive, which is the one i need cause my smallest breaker bar is a 1/2 drive

Maxx_Magnum Mar 15, 2010 10:53 PM

holy **** yak!! lmao that's prettyyyyy bad I would say....

Maxx_Magnum Mar 15, 2010 10:54 PM

no they aren't reverse threads.... you got any heat? they'll probably need it, One side of my truck was a biatch to get them out

Lol yea she about yanked me off the road when she finally went, i went from the far left lane to the shoulder of the far right lane in less than a second.

those bolts are being lil ****s though, missing some skin off my right hand lol

Finally got the bolts out, ROYAL PITA.

Now im wondering what the hold up is, i got the 3 bolts out and the axle nut is off and i still cant get the ****in hub to budge. I got a flathead and a hammer and tried to hammer a gap on all the corners to bust it loose and she still aint going. Got it soaking in liquid wrench right now and gonna beat the piss out of it again in a few minutes.

Heres a couple pic's so far, Also um i dont have any retaining clips on my U joint, am i supposed to?

It's amazing that your brake sheild isn't all rusty. It looks to be in decent shape compared to ones i've seen.

To get the hub out...well good luck. I had to take mine to a shop and they used a special tool to get it out. My dad and I tried for hours to get the thing off but it didnt want to budge. Some people say theirs just fall right out and others of a pita one their hands
