PurplDodge's Spring Project

1 Attachment(s)
This is something I've really needed to do for a LONG time! Plenum gasket, timing chain, and everything that comes along with it.

I got a package in the mail today that I really liked (And amazingly, it wasnt porn!). RockAuto.com is the best!!!

In it was:
12 NGK spark plugs (4 were for the mowers)
Cloyes timing set
Denso Oxygen sensor
FEL-Pro thermostat, throttle body, air cleaner, timing cover set, and Fuel injector O-ring gaskets
Gates upper, lower, and bypass hoses
Goodyear Gatorback serpintine belt
Standard Motor Products coolant temperature sensor
Stant 195 thermostat and radiator cap
Attachment 88760

Hopefully my Harland Sharp 1.7 roller rockers will arrive by this weekend.

I have all this weekend and next week (Off school for spring break). I still need to get a new (not reman) water pump, oil filter, oil, plenty of Seafoam, some Locktite, and paint.

Oh yeah, I'll also have a sweet DIY for the plenum gasket.

sweet man!! those rockers will be fun :)

as soon as you get the fan and shroud off, pull a table up to the front of the truck for all your tools and parts, and climb over in the engine bay and stand at the front of the motor. it makes it a lot easier.

take your time and double check everything. label every wire and every hose. painters tape is cheap. i put all my bolts in little zip lock bags with labels to avoid the big bucket of bolts that all look alike.

Yes they will, they say 15-30 ft. lbs. of torque gained, that sounds pretty good to me! Should really help with towing the camper!

I look forward to seeing it. :) I have been neglecting mine for a while. Might shoot for may to do mine.

Awesome, I am glad you are doing this since the DIY is out of pics. I have already done it but it will be great for people with questions. Say, do you guys have a lawn business? I could have sworn I seen an ex-mark on the back of your trailer in one of your pics?
