Well got the truck tonight guys! 400 bucks!!!
Truck is a 1998 2500 sport with 410 gears detroit lockers f/r. 5.5in lift, 488 V10 8L. 80k miles. SDo I will be swapping the axles and lift over to my truck(dont want a gas guzzling v10). Going to part out the truck as there is lots of good parts. When I swap to my truck im rebuilding the front suspension parts before i slap it in mine... Going to be running 35s on black rock crawler rims, might sell the detroits and get either arbs or ox lockers eventually. Here is a pretty good pic of it lol. Oh yea!!! I also got an almost brand new 9500 warn winch.... that is NOT for sale hahah

Lol if the engine dont sell maybe haha. Sooo found a set of 37in tires too..... Might run those... Also if i have the cash i am going to put a steel rear bumper on, linex my front one.. get side steps... and a few extras... might toss the cage that was in the truck on my if its straight(haven check really). Btw this isnt going to be a year long project.. This will all be done with in a month if that. I will be taking pics when i start working more(all i have done is pulled the pcm/ecm and rad.

How about the rear bumper and that roll bar, i realize they'er not on the list but if you dont need them and if they'er in half way decent condition i'd be interested

 

Roll bar has a dent but should be fine. Rear bumper also has a dent but is not rusty haha. Although its white... but u could paint it black.. or rust color to match....

 

****, that looks worse than my dad's F350 did after my idiot sister piled it into a tree and laid it on the driver's side....


as far as the frame goes, i'd go over it to make sure it's not all bent to hell

and smart move on rebuilding the front suspension before you do the swap, i'd also check the brakes and do the rear axle seals if they are leaking at all...

 

Yup will be tossing new brakes on it! only has 80k so im not to worried about the seals but I will check. Also prolly doing the plenum plate and maybe rockers while im at it... Might add a few more things depending on cash flow...

 

it would be wroth alot more if you put your body on it
