Any Ideas other than drill the entire bolts out?

On the riveted balljoints ( a la S-10 ), I didn't bother drilling at all. I used an air hammer with a chisel bit to blow the heads off, and then a punch bit to knock 'em out. Worked great, and is a LOT easier than drilling.

Cool re Ball Joint HELL! What to do now?

I went to harbor freight and picked up a handheld high speed grinder. It cost me eight dollars so i bought two of them. It worked out real good on cutting those rivets off.

Well, I bought a 1/2 inch bit and drilled them out. Control Arm is fine, threw some black paint on it so it wouldnt rust. New Ball Joints are in and better. IT STILL MAKES THE WEIRD NOISE? I think its gotta be tie rods.

Cool re: Ball Joint HELL! What to do now?

I'm glad it worked out for you. While I had it all taken apart I decided to go ahead and replace all the bushings tie rod ends and everything while I was in there. Definitely have your front in aligned because no matter how close you think you have it, It will be out of spec. Hope this helps.

Thanks.

I just replaced both my outer tie rod ends and before I replaced them they didn't make any noise, they just had a ton of play and I broke one. I know it sounds dumb to ask but did you grease the ***** joints you just did?

Cool

The ones that I installed came with grease fittings. So I did fill them full of grease after installing everything.
