Started my new bumper
Tonight i started to make my new front bumper. Its 3.5 OD pipe. Ther is gonna be 2 of these on the front with enough room in between them to mount my winch. Figured i post a few pics and update it incase anyone wanted to follow along.
After i get the tubes mounted i am gonna angle cut them at the outside of the grill and weld them on so they go back with the body lines.

That sounds like a very bad idea to me, imagine getting in an accident and knocking one of the ends off. It wouldn't be pretty.

This is just tacked into place. after i get the two tubes were i want them i am pulling the whole bumper and brackets off the frame and i have 1/4 plate i am cutting out the same and then gonna weld it to that stock bracing and then bolt it back on.

I would like to see you rip a welded end cap off. I have done this before and it works great. Not to mention its only going to pressurized to about 200 psi anyway enough to fill some tires.
