Stupid Idea?
So...I have always wanted a Diesel Truck...I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.8L Automatic.
Mileage: 145,000 miles
Body type: Pickup truck
Engine: 8 Cylinder
Exterior color: Silver
Transmission: Automatic
Fuel type: Gas
Interior color: Gray
Mods: Round Filter, Super 44 Flowmaster Muffler, PiAA lights, sprayed bed, CB, Subs
I came across a truck: "1998 DODGE RAM 2500 QUAD CAB 4X4 TWIN TURBO CUMMINS DIESEL"
Mileage: 193,101 miles
Body type: Pickup truck
Engine: 6 Cylinder
Exterior color: Silver
Transmission: Automatic
Fuel type: Diesel
Interior color: Gray
Mods: Unknown
but I can take almost all my mods and put them in this truck. The biggest difference is mileage.
Am I stupid to want to buy this one, rip my mods out and then sell it for Best Offer? Not sure what i could get for it...talk to me boys...and some ladies.

i would do it!!!! 190k on a cummins is nothing, the engine in my 75 has over 320k on it putting somewhere around 400hp/850tq to the tires and it doesnt get driven nice, my 98 i just rebuilt, only for the reason that i had the engine out, and at 200k didnt have any issues at all, i almost reused the bearings, but didnt, i have tore down a few engines with over 300k on them and still look like new inside, still had hone marks! check out the rest of the truck really well, but i would be very confident in the drive train, other than the trans, check the fluid (color/smell/level) ands give it a good hard test drive, plus there is the added benifit of the extra power, and a lot more milage, is it a 12v or 24v? if 24V, also check the codes, to ensure it doesnt have a death code for the injection pump
