intake manifolds
Ok ,I have been reading most of the plenum repair threads and have decided my 99 (which needs the repair)is going to get a new new manifold instead.
however the hughes air gap is 600 bones and summit has eldelbrock performer for around 270 bones.
Is there that much diference in the performance from the airgap versus the dual plain of the performer?

Only manifolds I could find for our engines were all single plane, large opening (four barrel) setups. They have injector bungs, etc.... but, for a truck, a single plane manifold is not really what you want. They are more designed for high RPM horsepower.
