If you're looking for the headunit then yes. I think that even a remote 6-disc was available.

There are a lot of these on ebay, but you have to want one really bad to pay the going prices for them...

Personally just throw a Pioneer or something into it. I had the factory CD player in my 01 and the damned thing just ate my CD's. I ended up replacing it with a Alpine and smashed the living crap out of the factory CD player. It was the Infinity model too.[:@]

My factory wouldn't play most burnt cds so I stuck a pioneer in it.

I love factory head units...I can't stand all the goofy crap on the newer aftermarket units. What do I need a screen saver on my radio for? I snagged an Infinity factory unit from a 96 or 97 Ram and put it in my Ramcharger I used to have...nice unit, but like others have mentioned, it didn't always play my burnt disks.

For the Ram I have now, I got a factory 4 disk changer head unit from a 2001 Stratus. I had to modify the dash face a little bit to fit it in, but it was still a plug and play unit, and it still gives me the nice, clean factory look that I like.

There's a reason for that......

Most factory head units were using an older style laser to view cd's until about 99......it wasnt until then that they really started upgrading the units to read burned cds.........Honestly, you can spend less then $100 for a decent plain jane cd player.....If my 2001 Dakota cd player would fit in your ram I'd sell it to ya for $50. I know they don't unfortunately....
