Ran across this on ebay. anyone have experiences with this company.
Just sounds too good to be true.

RUN! Run away now! Seriously I posted here, and over at DT about that company. Company is pure trash, be prepared to be given the run around. Also look at BBB reviews. Best advise I can give is to go through a local store. I have a reman done by Cardone and havn't had a problem. Which I could say the same about the few I got from AutoComputerExchange when I thought I was getting a deal too. The deal was too good to be true.

I went thru them back in 06 and paid $250. and had no issues with it, plug and play...

Well considering there current track record, I'd suggest to stay away. (between the other guys thread and my experience). The BBB record. etc. Obviously it is the OP's decision but since there are other options out there... I'd go that route if I had to do it again.

I got one from there, no problems, just be DAMN SURE you submitted information is perfect, their customer service sucks. And it will NOT be preloaded with the death flash...

Junk / rubbish. If your looking for a better than OEM quality REMAN or, even NEW for under 400.00- look over at autosource modules.

They build them in their factory here in the USA. They buy their own components that are MIL (Military rated) and are made to last.

Fully tested to and above OEM spec, fully warrantied for life (NEW units) and great customer support.

Their REMAN units are also fully scoped out to ensure that some OTHER portion of the unit has not been damaged as one would expect when the PCM sees a voltage spike that takes out the regulator CKT. Most companies simply find the failed components and replace those only. This is why those end up failing later on because, some other portion of the circuit was compromised and was not fully repaired.

The problem with all or, at least, most companies out there is that they do not test them, the work is done on a sub-par level, and, they use the CHEAPEST parts that are NOT EVEN RATED for automotive use.

This is what causes the "It seems to good to be true" awareness. Because, it IS too good to be true. All the units I've heard / read or actually come into contact with were using junk components. Steer clear of all those dirt bag, rip-off artists. Those places are scamming people left and right on PCMs ECUs etc.

This company you recommend doesn't have a website? I'm looking to get a reman PCM and turn my old one in for exchange and want a quality replacement.

I checked on that and, it looks like they may be changing domains at current. CM


EDIT: I just phoned over there and, it's not good news I'm afraid. It looks as though they may have out of business. The 800 number is dead. The 904 number works but, no one picks up. I wonder if the economy put them out of business or what.

That's cool. Rock Auto offers reman'd PCMs. from Cardone. I may go that route.
