So many hair-pulling problems can be traced back to bad batteries, bad connections at the battery or bad grounds. My wife's GM minivan had the check engine light, service traction system light and ABS light all because of bad battery connection. Crazy. So now, on the truck and van, every month I check connections and grounds as part of routine maintenance.

Does this happen at a certain point in time like 1/2 fuel or 1/4 fuel level.
Sound exactly like what would happen to my 94 when i would get to around 1/4 tank it would jump and sputter and once and a while it would shut down, but no codes. It ended up being a bad fuel pump, was working to hard as the fuel got low and wasnt able to keep up.

if the battery is good and the cables are tight, and the ignition wires are tight and not crossed, then it sounds like it's a fuel problem...you should have the fuel pump checked...highly doubt all of the injectors are stuck shut...also check to make sure you're getting proper fuel pressure as well

well it will do it with any amount of gas in it and it can go for days with out acting up i have checked all the grounds and connections but i haven't checked fuel pressure but i will. thanks

The exact thing happened to my truck so i took it to a shop and they said something is wrong with the injectors.

Unplugging the o2 sensor, is not the same as unscrewing it.
