bought truck with 93,000 miles on it trans went out at 112,000 t converter went out had one put in , truck does not pull load like it did before about 3,000 pounds , is what i pull every week end .if truck sets for 2 days with out start up ,it will miss until i get it to about 2,000 rpm then it is fine

When is the last time the truck had a good tune up?

 

I wonder if they removed the CPS before removing and installing the trans.

 

look down throttle body for a pool of oil! welcome to the forum

 

Looking down the TB does nothing! Remove it(the TB) and look with a light and a small mirror. Or do the TSB which is useless IMHO.

 

truck has not had tune up in a while , the only thing i have done to it as far as tune up has been plugs . me and my dad put trans in our self we did not remove the cps. truck pulled real good until the bearing race in the converter came out and front pump gear. it is realy down on pulling power ,

 

did you only replace the TC? it may be time for a rebuild.....

also check the fluid, check while running in neutral to get an accurate reading.
