How do you install a tail light bar on a 2001 dodge ram?

little bit more info man, what kinda lightbar, where do you want to mount it etc etc

You talking about something like a Fire and Ice that goes under the tailgate if so you can run it off the trailer plug, my brother has it that way on his chevy it was quick and easy only downside is he has to unplug it to tow something.

But he drives a chevy so he cant tow much

I think he means just above the bumper and under the tailgate. I've seen lots of trucks with those and when you apply the brakes the light up and when you do the turn signals half of them light up and blink. Do you have a link to the website from where you ordered?

Most of these L.E.D. light bars are all the same thing. They have a double-sided foam tape on the back of them that you just put on the panel between the bumper and the bottom of the tailgate. ANd to wire it up they come with a 4-wire-flat connection.
