Default code 1281 help

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport 5.9L I have just started to run the P1281 code (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 Circuit Performance) What i am wanting to know is how can i fix this code. What does it do and where is this sensor at? Thax for the help.

Umm, P1281 is "Engine is Cold Too Long". How did you check the code?

I did replace the stat but my truck runs at about 190 at all times and it takes a long time to heat up even in the summer time mmmm about ten mins
