I'm sure they are putting it in there test port. Some people are just bull headed. They do what they want to do. I have mine in my "out" line immediately after coming out of the tranny. That's only because I'm waiting to get my deep tranny pan with a port for the temps sensor.

^ well, that's good to hear. I bet that that one member that had the leaking home depot fitting crossed the threads. There's not much that can go wrong on a fitting like that except for user error. It's not like we're talking about a sensor. My tee fitting from the home depot has been holding steady for a while now without a leak. Hope it works out for you.

im installing this tomorrow for my trans temp sender, all in prep for the 408. question is will i have to remove the line to use a tubing cutter to cut the outlet line, or will i be able to get the job done while its still attatched. also, how can you tell which line is the outlet?
