Default sucking air!!

When I have the gas pedal pushed about 1/4 throttle it sounds like it is sucking air real bad and if I push it on down or let off of it I cant hear it anymore. Is this normal or is there something I need to look into fixing? I have had the throttle body off and put it back on with a new gasket, and I replaced the pcv valve, pcv hose and gromet (all with mopar parts). Also when I frist crank it up it will rev up and down on its on for about 20 or 30 seconds before it will level off and idle normal (only when I first start it up for the first time in the day). Any help will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced!!

No I didnt reset the pcm. It is a stock air hat and a k&n filter. How do you reset the pcm?

You're probably just hearing the throttle body singing -- it's normal enough if you've got a high flow filter that doesn't dampen the noise as much as the cheaper filters.

I hear mine except when cruising lightly loaded thanks to the K&N FIPK that's on it.

Just disconnect your battery for about five minutes. PCM will re-learn everything.

It was loud enough that my brother said he heard it sucking while I was backing a 20' trailer across my parents yard today! If its just idling in the yard with the hood up I cant hear it. I was thinking a vac line or throttle body because I didnt hear it like that before I took the TB off and put it back on, but I didnt mess with any vac lines. I will have to look more into it when I have a chance.

Check to make sure the gasket between the airhat and top of the TB is still in place. Did you clean the TB and IAC port when you had the TB off?
