The OBDI fellers are getting harder and harder to find anyone that does anything with them.... There is a company that is a sponsor on the site, but, I don't know if they still do OBDI computers.

This company rebuilt my OBD1 MP Part # P5049516 for my 1992 Dakota 5.2. I can't answer for them about rebuilding/replacing your computer but I can give you their website & my SATISFIED review. https://www.autoecu.com/ Good luck!

Thanks I will check them out,

as “heyyou” had said, it’s getting harder to find someone that can work with OBD 1 stuff

Have you considered swapping your PCM with another one with the same part number? I did that a while back with I tried to flash my original PCM with an SCT tuner that ended up bricking my PCM. The replacement PCM was used off another truck and it worked perfectly.

Default Update

I went looking for another PCM, well actually I cut my wife loose and she found 2 on EBay

my problem is, this engine is a 1995 360 magnum out of a 1 ton dually truck

i started this project with a regular 1995 360 out of a 3/4 ton truck but the gross vehicle weight for that engine was around 8500 lbs. well that wouldn’t do if I was to smog leagle this beast in California, the gross vehicle weight on my chassis is 10500 lbs so I looked for a 1 ton truck and found one in pic a part, spent 2 days pulling the harness, air pump, and comp.
gross vehicle weight on a 1 ton truck is 10500lbs

the 1 ton truck uses 2 o2 sensors and has dual exhaust back to dual cats with air injection

anybody in 95 looking for a dually work truck wanted the v10 or Cummings diesel so v8 duallys were a lot rarer

i found out that a regular 95 br truck pcm with one o2 will actually run the engine but not well with only 1 o2 sensor

back to to my wife , she found 2 on eBay, same part numbers,

one was was in good shape and she got it for $175.......cool!

what she didn’t tell me until it arrived was she bought the second one also

it had a broken mounting ear and she got it for $39!!! Same part number

ran both of them for a couple of hours and not one problem!!

they both have around 100k for mileage

i have the $39 one in it now

just had both cats installed today so on to installing the air pump and fabricating the air lines back to the cats
