Default Dual exhaust

How would I go about doing true duals on my truck? It's a 97. I'm not sure how to do it with O2 sensors

you can monitor just one bank... these trucks are dimwits, they'll never know the difference..

Or, use a short H or X pipe, and put the sensor in the center of it. Using one or the other really isn't such a bad plan on a truck. Fools the exhaust into thinking the collectors are longer. Good for low-end grunt.

Ok I'm just going to keep the sensors in the one pipe and just run the other.

Now to decide what mufflers, im thinking of using 2 heartthrob flowpacks but I'm not sure. I want to do glasspacks or something cheap but I still want it loud. What do you think?

No muffler would be cheap and loudest? I run just resonators without mufflers on my vette and they sound pretty badass... even though it cant get out of its own way..
keep in mind you will likely lose some low end power and the truck will likely idle rough without a x or h pipe ...

Never heard one of these in person and nor can I find anything on youtube with them, but if their description is accurate it should be loud, also you could remove the cat...

Mine idles fine with duals and o2's in 1 pipe and and it felt like I gained some low end power. I finally took a pic of it .

My pop in law has a '88 RamCharger with the 318, it's got true dual exhaust, no X or H, with cat's, don't know what style muffler, and it sounds really good.
