Default Underdrive pulleys

I installed my Underdrive pulleys today, changed the crank case and alt. lost so alt. power but it ok i don't use much elec.and while I was under the hood I cut the wings off my throttle body made a decent improvement to me. Well those who are looking to get the pulleys the new belt size will be 15/16" x 95-3/4". I got the gates belt part # K070951

You have to use a impact gun socket size 7/8" to remove the alternator nut. the crankcase socket size is 1/2" if I remember correct.

lost so alt. power but it ok i don't use much elec.
Ha!

The loss of power to my accessories is one reason why I wont get underdrive pulleys. The 7 or so horsepower "freed-up" from underdrive pulleys is not worth it to me.

Sweet thanks for the info.. ive got no extra electirc really needed plus im gettin a bigger alt here soon so this will be nice. haha.

so if you used a bigger alt with the underdrive pullys, would it equal everything out?
ive been wanting to install some when i do my e-fan

i have just the crank pulley i have efans and a stereo. No problems unless my lights are on and fans running also with stereo cranked up then yes my voltage is below 14 at idle

So is crank and underdrive pulley the same thing? and where do you purchase these pulleys?

The crank pulley is the pulley on the crankshaft. Underdrive pulleys slow down the accesories (underdrive) and and free up horsepower.

I used common sence for the crank pulley haha thanks though, and thanks for the sights and explanations help appreciated.
