37's vs 39's

I have an oppertunity to buy a set of th 37"hummve tires and wheels, (double bead locks) and i have the oppertunity to buy two new fronts of my 39's..

The 37's will be better in snow, and they would give me slightly better power and gas milage.. but are a few hundred more with shipping.

The 39's are less expencive, andgmy nature is bigger tires.. but.. bigger, less expencive, and they are a great tread for mud and good road manners

For a 1500 39 tires may be to big ?

No, no boss, u must have never seen any of my threads... i have the work done.. o can handle the 39's and i hsve had 46's on and done fine. and im no light weight.. i beat my truck

I would go with the 39's. I have a set of 37's, and I like 'em, they just look a little too small for the lift I have. Which If you can fit 46's, you probably have a few more inches of lift. I only can get away with 42's.

Not necessarily doubting you, but unless "the work" you have done includes swapping out the front axle for a Dana 60 (or similar), the Dana 44 can't handle much bigger than 37 without eventually snapping.

he has. look at a few of his posts. has a pretty well built beast. Id say get them both :P(since i know thats not an option... 39's!)

IIYea, I have axle swaps, 35spline upgrades on those Dana 60 and daf 70 rear so i mean, the 46's were tight and I have since taken a few inchs out of the lift, but im fitting the 39's now but i blew a ball joint and didn't know it, took a 10 hour trip when i was moving and tore up the fronts.. ball joint caused a bad tie rod..

So he 39's or the 37's will fit and look good.
