Cab mounts/ cab supports for 1998 Dodge Ram

Anybody know where to locate, who makes aftermarket, where i could buy, get, steal, trade for front cab mounts for my club cab Dodge Ram? My front mounts are rotted out pretty bad. Actually pretty weird because all the rest of the mounts on the truck are fine. Its the mounts closest to the firewall under where your feet would be. I've looked everywhere. OEM doesnt have them anymore, the part number for them originally was 5016868AA. Any help would be really appreciated.... im trying to not have to have them made. Thanks in advance.

you are talking about the poly bushings between the body and frame? pretty sure you can get them on ebay, no guarantees on quality though, lol

No the actual metal mount that is welded to the cab floor. Its called either a cab mount or cab support.

ooooo gotcha. that seems like a good fab project to me. never even looked at them before, wonder if they are the same on my truck...

when I replaced the front ones due to an accident, I just cut a rectangle tube at an angle, no bending necessary, just cutting drilling holes and welding.

Are they rusted out? Clean truck by the way.

You might have to get a auto wrecker to cut one out of an old truck, I have been looking as well and have yet to find any new ones out there.

Thank you! Yeah they are rotted out pretty bad on both sides. Only mounts on the truck that are bad actually. I'm finding them online for older trucks but not mine. Seems like alot of work to make something to fit.

Any news on these? I've been looking for them every once in a while, still no luck. I have made new ones, but they were done in a hurry so the end result is just sad. First I made was drivers side middle 2011, then passenger side middle 2012 and lastly drivers side front 2013 (under the pedals). Now I'm looking the passenger side front to be next, but noticed that the front fender don't align perfectly to the door, there's more gap at the bottom. On both sides. Apparently I wasn't careful enough when I made the drivers front, even though I lifted body to make support taller that the rotted one, it's still on a wrong height. So I decided to lift the body off the frame, and replace all the supports I made, either with new ones or from stronger material. I used 1 millimeter sheet (which I think is 19 gauge), and that probably isn't strong enough, even though I made supports in them. Might have held if just been street driven, but offroading places much more strain to body mounts.

I think cutting them off an old cab is the only way nowadays really. Theyre no longer available anymore new.

Got any pics of your work? Im sure others in the same situation might interested to see!
