Where to buy a steering stabilizer bracket... or how to get the bolt out?
I couldnt get the bold out of the steering stabilizer (inside side). The other one came right out. Got the nut off, couldnt get the bolt out. Slammed it with a sledgehammer- soaked it in rust remover, and lit it up with a torch. Tried to use a power saw to cut through the bolt but its hardened steal and it ate right through my blade.
been looking on ebay with no luck. Where can I find a bracket, or how can I get this daggone bolt out?its like seized inside the actual stabilizer mount.
On the steering arm? If so, I think it is a stud, not unlike the tapered studs in the ball joints. Use TWO large hammers. (I have two three pound single jacks.) Hold one against one side, and then SMACK the other side as hard as you can. Three or four good whacks, and it should pop.
Alright....I also need help with this! That darn nut is tougher than steel!!!! Why on earth would they use that type of tapered sleeve to connect the stabilizer to the track bar??????

alright....this is really getting me frustrated...this is the bolt that I cannot remove...what am I doing wrong? I've hit it with a hammer, sprayed it with penetratant lube, tried prying it off...it's solid!
