Ordered a Radiator From RockAuto...and it's Broken

Well I'm planning to do the plenum repair soon and I'm doing my radiator at the same time since the top row broke.

I was advised not to order a radiator online because it could break during shipping, but did anyway...and it's broken. When I took it out of the box I saw the little plastic "fitting" that a hose connects to was broken off--the hose going from the plastic coolant reservoir, to the fitting right below the radiator cap.

I checked on RockAuto's site and they don't explain their return policy on broken items...If I send it back for a refund and they notice it's broken will they still give me the refund? Should I just email them and tell them it broke during shipping?...I've never returned anything so I'm just not sure what I should do.

Call 'em and tell 'em you received it broken. DO NOT tell them it was damaged in shipping, let them draw their own conclusions.

I have also bougt 2 radiators and an ac consenser from Classic Radiators online. Never broken, and best prices. Most recent was ac condenser for Jaguar - only $44.00.

Anyone that sells online has to have a return policy, but call and get RMA before you send it back, or may not get credit. Rock Auto should be good on this. They are not a "fly by night" company.

I agree with HeyYou, you received it broken......
