Speedometer isn't working
 

I have 1996 318 1500 ram the speedometer isn't working right till 3-5 miles before it kicks in and the tech, fuel, oil, temp works fine can anyone help me out with this

Any other lights on? As in ABS or Brake lights? How does it shift through the gears? There are 2 sensors that can be the problem. Speed sensor on side of tranny and speed sensor on top of rear diff.

it shifts fine none of thoes lights are on

sorry also the sensor on the tranny has been replaced

If you aren't getting a CEL, and none of the other lights are on, may be a cluster problem.

the abs, brake lights aren't on but all of the other lights are working through

I'd replace the sensor on the rear diff anyway.

just replaced the one in the rear diff and it still hasn't changed also it started to buck once again

what would cause the starter relay cut out

What does that mean?
