Cool "Here's where we are at"

Well, build coming along slow but "Great", got my heads, and i might add are awesome, 360 EQ heads reworked, 2.02 ex., 1.68 in., ex. lift .513, in. lift .480 (Comp cam by the way). Degreed and came in .5 diff. to cam card......cool. So taking to machine shop monday and check new pushrod length with checker, and then call Comp Cam and order rockers and rods kit....picked up my Edelbrock 600 cfm/electric choke (model 1406), edelbrock 2-plane performer intake. so build is coming along. soon will garage and remove and replace. can't wait to blaze down the road with my hair on fire. Only thing, bloody engine sits back in the compartment, maybe tough to get a air cleaner for it, 14" dia. 3" tall, isnt going to work.

What are you putting that engine in? Doing away with FI? What kind of rockers are you putting in?

@gdstock, putting this motor in my 1500, bought as 2nd owner and has been a great truck, no tranny problems, replace couple sensors here and there. Has 280,300 miles and cylinder 8 has ring wear and drinking the oil, still running good, but have to check the oil couple times a week.
Yes sir, doing away with FI, some of it at least.
And as for rockers they are Comp Cam (1.6 Magnum Rockers, Magnum Pushrods, Guide Plates & Rocker Studs) 1425-kit.
